The logger also provides a resizable widget. It is possible to configure it to a certain degree.
If the phone is connected to a wifi you can view some details.

Note:
Android offers notifications (broadcasts) if the wifi status changes. These changes are logged by Wifi Logger. Some phones have power saving modes, preventing apps to execute code.
If your log is empty or seems incomplete it is possibly caused by such a power saving mode. Please add in this case Wifi Logger to the protected apps.
