FinEvents wants to strengthen Finnish communities abroad, enable people to meet, and make people's lives easier by providing useful information for Finns living abroad.

FinEvents is a platform that promotes Finnish meetups, parties, movies, concerts and other events, as well as useful local services for Finnish expatriates and those who wish to learn more about Finland and its culture.

By using keywords or event categories, the app scans and gathers events from a range of relevant sources, such as any local Finnish associations, Facebook and other event platforms, prioritizing events related to Finnish culture. These events can then be sorted by date or by distance from your current location, and seasonal filters can help you find events related to occasions like Easter, Vappu, Midsummer and so on.

Platform also shows you local Finnish associations and other organisations that provide services in Finnish or useful information for living abroad. Through our platform, you may also find job vacancies especially for Finnish speakers. We also give a place for local businesses that want to promote their products, services and discounts for members of the FinEvents platform. And true to Finnish mentality, the app also shows all the saunas nearby.

FinEvents is currently live in Sweden, Denmark and the Netherlands, in Finnish, English and Swedish.
