Followed by:

• 6 respectful pictures of you

• 3 respectful videos of you

We believe that seeing videos of the individual you are planning to converse with allows for a more genuine first impression. This will help when you decide to take the leap and start chatting, or eventually meet face-to-face. We want you to have access to this valuable information about any individual you are interested in, saving you time and allowing for a smoother dating experience overall.

Only paying users are able to view your profile, we decided to implement this strategy to ensure that all members are serious about dating, positioning each and every one of you on the same page.

Once you get the ball rolling with the app and receive your first match, you will then be asked to send a message to the individual. If you do not adhere to this requirement, you will not be allowed to search other profiles for up to 48 hours. We believe that this will increase the chances of people matching with individuals they are genuinely interested in getting to know, and will filter out any individuals who have no intention of going any further.

SD is a tool that allows you to meet people that you can build genuine connections with, we are not ‘just another dating app’ where you are often subjected to time wasters.

You are given the access to search through as many profiles as you desire, but are only able to have 4 matches at one time. This will make users more selective when browsing profiles, and will result in more time spent on the matches you already have. Bear in mind that only users you have matched with can send you a message; so be sure to choose carefully.

If you do not have any matches, you are given the opportunity to send a star request to someone you are interested in, this will then put you first in line when they search for a new profile. If you receive a star request, you will instantly become aware that they do not have any other matches, putting you at a great advantage. If your star is accepted, neither of you will be able to search for other profiles, allowing you exclusive one on one time to get to know each other.

Messages sent to you from your matches must be read chronologically. This is a feature that we created to ensure that nobody gets ignored, so you can truly find out whether you are interested in the individual or not. We believe that giving each and every member an equal opportunity will allow for a more selective process, which is what we strive to represent.
