There are 15 horse species in Horse Life, which now also includes a fantastic and highly innovative Cybred, also known as Robot Horse. In this guide, we'll provide you with a tier list of all species in the game, including all their best features, as well as most probable locations.

Every horse species in Horse Life must be caught and tamed for it to be added to your stable, where you can start customizing it. Each horse has access to a number of various traits, although all of them have basically the same skill set, which can be improved by completing various tasks, such as galloping for agility, breaking and eating sources of food for strength, etc. Be sure to use our codes for getting free items and rewards.

S-Tier – Most Useful Horses

These horses are truly the top of the breeds, having the most diverse and useful set of traits. You won't regret getting either one of them!

Ghoulsteed	+Has a huge number of traits (74 in total). +Natural host for six unique wing types, including Creature Wings, Demon Wings, Reaper Wings, Skeletal Dragon Wings, Skeleton Wings, and Torn Dragon Wings. +Has 37 different eye types. +Has a unique laying animation. -Not available outside of the Halloween Event (try trading for it, although it's expensive).
Kelpie	+Has access to 66 traits in different categories. +The only species capable of moving underwater. +Omnivore species that eats both fish and fruits/vegetables. +Has 37 different eye types. +Includes 11 different Wild Presets.
Fae Horse	+The fastest moving horse in the game. +Has access to 66 traits in five different categories. +Has one of the largest number of cosmetics in the game. +Has 37 different eye types, mostly in rare category. -Can be tough to catch and tame.

A-Tier – Good Utility

Here are some very good horses, which can be used in almost every type of challenge, whether it's horse races or simple cross-breeding.

Flora	+One of the easiest species to catch and tame. +Has access to 42 traits in six different categories. +Natural host for four unique wing types, including Clover Wings, Lily Wings, Petal Leaf Wings and Blooming Wings.
Gargoyle	+Gargoyles have the strongest bite force due to their teeth made of stone. +Gargoyles are used in Coal Mines (speak to Alex NPC). +Has access to 64 different traits within six categories.
Equus	+Has access 46 traits in five different categories. +The best of the cheaper horses, costing only 68 coins at base level. -Short stature doeasn't allow it to move too fast.

B-Tier – Unique Breeds

There are a few species of horses in the game that are highly unique, but they have also some strong shortcomings, which shouldn't be ignored.

Species	Pros/Cons
Peryton	+The only species spawning with wings that fly when in the wild. +Has access to 52 different traits. -Can be very hard to catch and tame due to their small size and constant flying. -Although it's possible to find Perytons without wings, it's an extremely rare occasion. -A rather expensive species, which sells for 150 coins at base level.
Unicorn	+Has one of the biggest number of traits in the game (81 in total). +Has an extremely wide range of Wild Presets. -Very hard to catch due to them spawning only singular and never in hordes. -Mostly appear only in white and light colors.
Alces	+Has a huge number of traits (71 in total). +Natural host for four unique wing types, including Starry Wings, Blizzard Wings, Wyvern Wings, and Frozen Titan Wings. -Not available outside of the Winter Event (try trading for it, although it's expensive). -Requires Breeding License, which is aquired by completing event quests in order to breed Alces.

C-Tier – Best Early Game Horses

Once you start, be sure to catch and tame at least one of these horses, as they'll make it easier for you to progress through the game.

Bisorse	+The best and strongest of all early game species. +Easy to catch and tame due to spawning in hordes. -Although it has many traits, they're all very samey. -Can be slower than other horses.
Caprine	+Small but useful species, with a nice range of traits. -Caprines buck players when they get too close, making it harder to catch and tame. -Spawn only in one very specific area of the map.
Horse	+The most common and easiest to tame species in the game. +Has the largest pool of traits among all basic horses.

D-Tier – Worst Species

Ponies are arguably the worst horses in the game and should be acquired only by the true pony enthusiasts.

Species	Pros/Cons
Pony	-The smallest species in the game, defined by minuscule stature and short stubby legs. -Has access to very few traits.
Plush Pony	+Has one of the biggest number of traits in the game (75 in total). -Cannot be found in the wild. -Can only be obtained by completing the Plush Pony journal quests.

How to Find All Species Locations in Horse Life Roblox

Horses can be tamed using various kinds of lasso as well as different rarities of food. Each horse has a number of hearts that indicate how close you are to taming it. Once all hearts have been filled, the horse will be tamed. Here, we'll show you how and where you can tame all horse species on Horse Life, including their exact locations and a number of hearts.

Pony	8	Can be found at Birchwoods. Can be tamed using String Lasso, Woven Lasso, or Uncommon food.
Equus	10	Can be found at Swamp. Can be tamed using Torn Lasso, String Lasso, Woven Lasso, or Uncommon food.
Bisorse	12	Can be found at Canyon. Can be tamed using Rope Lasso, Western Lasso, or Uncommon food.
Caprine	12	Can be found at High Birchwoods, beyond ponies. Can be tamed using Bright Lasso, Vibrant Lasso, or Rare food.
Unicorn	18	Primarily found on Beaches nearby Cliffs and certain large Fields. Can be tamed using Weak Magic Lasso, Magical Lasso, or Rare food.
Peryton	18	Primarily found on the Floating Island Fantasy map expansion region, but only accessible by horses with flight ability. Can be tamed using Cloud Lasso, Mystic Cloud Lasso, or Epic food.
Flora	19	Can be found at multiple locations around the entire map, in multiple biomes. Can be tamed using Rose Lasso, Flower Lasso, or Epic food.
Kelpie	20	Can be found inhabiting certain waterholes, ponds, or waterfalls. Can be tamed using Fishing Rods, Kelpie Lasso, or Epic food.
Gargoyle	25	Primarily found on Cliffs or nearby Cliffs overhanging Beaches, but also near ruins or grey structures in Forest areas. Can be tamed using Stone Lasso, Overgrown Lasso, or Epic food.
Fae Horse	26	Can be found at multiple locations around the entire map, in multiple biomes. Can be tamed using Mystic Web Lasso, Web Lasso, or Legendary food.
Ghoulsteed	30	Primarily found at North Field, Swamp, and Mountains. Can be tamed using Ghost Lasso, Undead Lasso, or Legendary food.
Alces	30	Found only in Winter Realm. Can be tamed using Snow Lasso, Ice Lasso, or Epic food.
Plush Pony	N/A	Crafted at Build-A-Plush Machine. Purchased with coins from the Plush Gacha Machine.
