Roblox PETS GO Fishing Guide

As part of the Dragon Update, the developers have introduced a unique gameplay feature called fishing in PETS GO. Indicative of its name, players can now reel out exclusive items using the fish rods from the beach area. While the concept of fishing is straightforward, there are lots of nuances, like using the correct baits, fishing rod, and more, that players need to factor into catching the rarest items. So, here is a PETS GO Fishing guide to get you started and make the most of the feature.

How to Fish in PETS GO - Roblox

To start fishing in PETS GO, you first have to unlock the newly added fishing option from the Upgrade section of the Main menu. It only costs 20K gold coins and can be easily unlocked within a few hours if you are just starting the game. After unlocking this, you can immediately head to the beach area and start fishing by standing inside the circle. There are no unique mechanics or anything; all you need is to stand in the circle, and you will keep reeling in random items from the sea.

Also, you don't need to get any rods to start fishing, as you will receive the default starter after unlocking the feature. Still, you can always upgrade your fishing rod from the Fishing sections using tokens. The more rare your fishing rod is, the better the chance of getting good items. What items can you get through fishing in PETS GO?

You can mainly get two objects through fishing in PETS GO - Fishing Tokens and Treasure Chest. While the Fishing Tokens are used to buy other Upgrades for the fishing mechanics and baits, the Treasure Chest contains several random items like fruits, potions, and more, depending on their rarity. Yes, similar to a fishing rod, there are various types of Treasure Chest.

• Epic Treasure Chest
• Legendary Treasure Chest
• Mythical Treasure Chest

Like most treasure chests, the quality of the loot depends upon the rarity. So, a Legendary or Mythical Chest will always contain better loot than a basic one. The drop rarity of getting a good chest depends upon the type of Rod and Bait you use in the game. So, upgrade to the best available version to get a better Chest.

Pets GO Fishing Merchant & Baits

As mentioned earlier, you can always get a better Chest in the game by using better Rods and Bait. While the Rods are permanent upgrades in the Upgrades section, you have to purchase Baits in the game by using Fishing Tokens from the Fishing Merchant. To do this, you have to first unlock the Fishing Merchant option inside the Upgrades. Once you do that, you can find the Fishing Merchant at the start of the beach, who will sell you Baits for Fishen Tokens in the game. Purchase and use them from your bag to increase the chance of getting good items from the sea. Also, like other rods, there are five types of Baits, which you can find below.
