About Us

The Kairat football club was founded in 1954, on the basis of the Dynamo Almaty, from whose players the Lokomotiv team was formed, later a voluntary sports society - the crop, which was then united with another DSO - collective farm (collective farmer), and received a new name Kairat.

From 1954 to 1991, the club performed in the USSR championship, of which 24 seasons in the Premier League. In 1986, he took a record place for himself in the USSR championship - the seventh.
